The five modules
- Foundations of AI and Challenge-Based Learning. What AI is, and using it for real inquiry rather than as a shortcut.
- Equity, ethics and responsible AI. Bias, privacy, fairness and appropriate student use.
- Designing AI lessons. Build an AI-supported lesson around your own learning objectives.
- Teaching it. Routines, pacing, assessment and support for AI-supported lessons.
- Showcase. Reflect on what happened in your class and present your project.
Tools include Swift Playgrounds, Keynote, Freeform, Pages, Numbers, Clips, Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe apps and large language models.
The first cohort
50 teachers from 12 schools were trained in 2025–26. Their confidence in teaching AI rose from 2.7 to 3.9 out of 5, and they built 30 lessons. See some of their lessons.
